March 25th will probably be the most important day of the year for HTC

HTC just announced that the “Best is going to get better” on March 25th. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to figure out that this will be the day for the unveiling of the HTC One successor. Codenamed the M8, it has been rumored to be called the HTC One 2 and the HTC One+. Whatever it’s called, we will find out for sure in just over a month. HTC didn’t divulge the location, but we are expecting a simultaneous launch in London and New York City, just like last year.

Since this will be HTC’s flagship phone of the year, this date will probably be the most important day of the year for HTC. The HTC One was a fantastic phone that received a ton of praise from the media, but praise and quality will only get you so far. HTC continued to show a lack of direction in their marketing efforts, which resulted in continued losses. HTC really needs to hit the mark with this phone and figure out a way to get people to jump off the Samsung ship. Can they do it? Only time will tell, but we will have a really good idea on March 25.
