Alcatel has unveiled three new smartphones named One Touch Idol 2, Idol 2 Mini and Pop Fit.
The Idol 2 features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution and 7.3mm body and is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 MP camera, 1.3 MP front camera and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS and 3G connectivity. In addition, the smartphone runs on Android 4.3 Jelly bean. The 3G model has a price tag of €199 ($273) while the 4G model is priced at €249 ($342).
The Idol mini 2 has a 4.5-inch 540×960 display, 1.2 GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8 MP camera, 2 MP front camera, runs on Android 4.3 and like its bigger sibling, supports WiFi, 3G, GPS, NFC and Bluetooth connectivity. The 3G model is priced at €169 ($232) and €209 ($287) for the 4G model.
Lastly, the OneTouch Pop Fit is a wearable smartphone sporting a 2.8-inch 240×320 display with 1GHz dual-core MediaTek processor, 512MB of RAM, 16 or 32 GB internal storage and is powered by an Android OS. The wearable smartphone comes bundled with a range of accessories. The price tag for the OneTouch Pop Fit is €89 ($122).
