Sony scored a minor hit with its Xperia Z smartphone last year but the company has still had no luck coming up with a hit tablet. Sony is clearly hoping to change that with the new Xperia Z2 Tablet, a new device that features a 10.1-inch full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 2.3GHz quad-core processor, an 8.1-megapixel rear-facing camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 3GB of RAM and a 6000mAh battery. The Xperia Z2 Tablet will also be tailored toward gamers and will be compatible with the PlayStation's wireless DualShock 3 controller. The new tablet will be available in March, although Sony hasn't yet announced pricing for the device. Sony's full press release follows below.
