Verizon announced new prepaid plans that offer customers lower prices with lower data allotments to match. As part of the revisions to their prepaid plans, Verizon is rebranding them as ALLSET PLANS. Consumers looking for a feature phone can get a device with a $35 per month plan that includes 500 calling minutes, unlimited texts, and 500MB of data. Moving up to a smartphone, the least expensive option is $45 per month which includes unlimited voice and texts while users get 500MB of data.

To give consumers some flexibility, Verizon also introduced “Bridge Data” which enables users to refill their data bucket. An additional 500MB of data will run $5, 1GB will go for $10 or 3GB will cost $20. However, these additional buckets of data come with time limits of 30 days, 90 days and 90 days respectively. Users can carry over unused data allotments subject to these time limits.

In connection with the rollout of the new plans, Verizon is offering customers the opportunity to double their monthly data allotment, up to 1GB, for enrolling in Auto Pay for their bills. Opting for at least a $45 per month plan will also land buyers an extra 1,000 minutes of international calling to Mexico and Canada.
