Earlier today, @evleaks graced us with a piece of information that should start up some chatter about an upcoming LG device. An unidentified device, with the model number LG D850, is heading to AT&T at some point in the future. What is this device? More likely than not it is the LG G3, which is rumored for a June release. He provides a little background by saying “D800 was G2, D820 was Nexus 5, and D830 was G Pro 2.” It would make sense that this is the G3 as it is right in line with what LG is projected to have coming next.
And this morning, a Verizon device with the model number LG VS985 leaked earlier today. The LG G2′s Verizon model number was LG VS985; therefore, it looks like the G3 is fairly close to being announced. The device is expected to have a eye-popping 2560×1440 QHD display. Stay tuned for more information on this device.
