Today, Samsung has announced that the “most advanced” DDR3 memory with 4GB has entered production. It uses new twenty nanometer process technology to save up to twenty-five percent of energy consumed when compared to the twenty-five nanometer process technology. By doing this, Samsung can improve upon its DRAM production as it can now produce the ten nanometer class. What exactly does this all mean? The next wave of devices will have memory that is far more dynamic than today’s technology.
