Starting on Wednesday, people living in the UK won’t have to import the Chromecast from the US to be able to own one. There is at least one retailer in the UK that already has the dongle in stock, which is the Dixons retail store. We don’t yet know how much it will cost, or if we will see Google sell the Chromecast directly through the Google Play Store, but this news should be pretty big for those waiting for it to be available outside of the US.
