The Oculus Rift is an incredible device. I've only had a single experience with the VR headset, but within seconds I became a believer. Virtual reality is going to play a major role in the future of entertainment -- in fact, even though the Rift isn't going to see a retail release any time soon, it's already providing joy for Buzzfeed's Gaming Editor Joe Bernstein.
