LG has released a second image of the upcoming Android Wear powered G Watch. The G Watch is set to be one of a number of devices to be released using the new Android Wear wearable tech platform, along with devices from companies like Motorola, HTC, ASUS and Samsung. LG and Motorola are so far the only two companies to release details about upcoming wearable devices.
Thanks to the new picture we have a much clearer idea of what the device is going to look like, confirming LG’s plans for a minimalist design, even doing away with the LG logo. LG has decided to stick with a rectangular device, unlike Motorola, who has opted for a rather eye-catching round design.
Because of the rectangular design we can assume that the G Watch will be at least a little cheaper to make than the Moto 360, since they won’t have to modify parts. Despite this, Motorola has claimed that buyers will be surprised at how low the price of the Moto 360 is.
