ZTE had a large presence at CES in January with the company showcasing the new Grand S II. While at the time, the device was only sporting 2 GB of RAM, however new information has surfaced suggesting that the Grand S II could very well be the first phone to have 4 GB of memory.
For smartphones with 32-bit processors, 4 GB of physical memory is the maximum. So until we see 64-bit processors in devices, we’re getting close to the ceiling. RAM aside, the device is on track to have a 5.5 inch 1080p display, 13 MP rear camera, 2 MP front camera, 3,000 mAh battery and will come with Android 4.3 out of the box.
Would a phone with 4GB of RAM entice you or do you think it’s overkill? Let us know!
