The other day, information surfaced that Samsung was working on a new Galaxy tablet that had a 10.5 inch display. Today we’re seeing evidence of that and a 10.1 inch tablet dropping by the FCC. Both the SM-T801 and SM-T805 have made an appearance.

There isn’t much in terms of information in the FCC documents, but the devices have a display diagonal size of 267.5 mm which equates to about 10.5 inches. The devices are about 9.7 inches by 6.94 inches. Batteries are rated at 30.02 Wh at 4.35 volts or about 6900 mAh.

The folks at Phone Arena did some sleuthing and found benchmarks for these devices that shines some light on other specs as well. According to the benchmark, the tablets run Android 4.4.2 and have Exynos 5 Octa SoC clocked at 1.9 GHz. Both have 3GB of RAM and come with 16GB of internal storage. Screen resolutions are 2560 by 1600 and each device will rock a 8 MP rear shooter with a 2 MP in the front.

Whether these are part of the Tab line, PRO line or another line entirely is unknown. Nor do we know the pricing of said tablets. Given that we’re seeing them grace the FCC halls, it should be a short matter of time before we see an official announcement. Stay tuned!
