We have a domain using 2003 R2 servers (2) for DC's with other file servers
and app servers for our faculty. These run on our intranet inside a firewall.
We have two web servers running 2003 standard edition on our DMZ. Can we
switch from having local accounts on each web server to using domain
accounts? Both web servers have two ethernet ports. The web pages are written
with asp and php. We want to give faculty the ability to edit their web pages
from off campus.
Thanks.

Re: Web Servers and AD

Hi,

A rule of thumb is not to have the web server connected to the AD/intranet.

But if you want the faculty to edit their web pages off campus, try remote
access or FTP.
