I'm currently using an old windows 98 computer. And on it the My
Documents folder has been mapped to a UNC address that is no longer
valid/active as the server that it addresses has been since
'decomissioned'. However, I can't change the location of where the My
Documents points to because it seems that because the current location
it is set to is not valid it won't let me change it. It doesn't error
or anything like that, it just looks like it saves the new location
upon hitting OK, but trying to access my documents or opening the
properties up again, confirms that it has indeed not changed it... and
left it as what it was, the unavailable network address.
What can I do to fix this?
