Min-hyouk became one of the youngest senior executives for the company in 2010 and helped push the Galaxy S series into the mainstream worldwide. Even so, the company has been in continued court battles over copyright infringements regarding the look and feel of the device.
So far, despite new features and design tweaks, the 2014 flagship hasn’t received the greatest of consumer responses. People fault a lack of hardware innovations, and the plastic, dimpled design that the device has. However, Dong-hoon will continue to work for the South Korean company and will continue to lead Samsung’s design center that oversees the company’s overall design strategy.
