I have 2 hard drives: my boot drive [80 GB] has 2 partitions labeled "C" and
"G"; my back up drive [120 GB] has 4 partitions labeled "D", "I" , "H" and
"W"
WinXP Event Viewer shows a bad block on "Device\Hardisk0\D"
But WinXP Disk Management shows "Disk 0" as the HD with partitions labled
"C" and "G"
I've run VCOM's Disk Fixer ultility and show no errors on either. But I
have no problem replacing a failing HD.
My confusion is: which HD is Event Viewer reporting as having a bad block -
the 80 GB or the 120 GB?
Thank you for any advice.
