It used to be that when I scheduled a chkdsk /f for the next reboot, I would
get a console display during startup showing the chkdsk progress and output.
Now, it just stays at the Starting Windows screen. It still performs the
check and the rest of the bootup continues as normal, but I'd like to see
the progress again. This change might be traceable to the installation of
some kernel-level debuggers that I installed. I have since uninstalled them,
but still no console during pre-boot disk checks.
