Hi
We have a farm of W2K Terminal Servers. A Group Policy on the OU that
contains the Servers redirects "My Documents" from teh profile to a UNC path,
based on security membership. This works without any problems.
We have discovered that if the Office apps are't tailored for each user when
their account is created, then the default locatin for documents (eg Word
files) is the "My Documents" withing the profile. This also applies to
auto-saved files, etc.
We have tried loading the .adm files for Office into Active Directory to set
these on a test OU that contains a few user accounts, but have found that if
we specify "My Documents" as the file location that this creates a folder "My
Documents" under the redirected "My Documents".
Any suggestions on how we can get Word and the other Office products to
see/use the redirected "My Documents"?
Hope this makes sense!
