HTC unveiled a mid-range device with two variants in Taiwan today. The HTC Desire 620 and 620 will feature two different processors with the 620 featuring the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 and the Desire 620G will sport a MediaTex MTK MT6592 SoC. Both will sport similar specs with a few variations.
Both will feature 5-inch 720p displays, 1 GB of RAM and 8GB of expandable memory. Both will have an 8MP rear shooter that shoots 1080p video and the Eye Experience made famous by the HTC Desire Eye with a 5MP front shooter. Both have a 2,100 mAh battery. But that’s about it for similarities.
The Desire 620 will come with LTE connectivity, support microSD cards up to 128GB in size and come with a TWD $6,990 ($225 USD) price tag. The 620G will have WCDMA, support microSD cards up to 32GB in size and be priced cheaper at TWD $4,990.
We’re not sure about availability outside of Taiwan but we’ll update you when we find out.
