E FUN has announced that they’ll be showing off their latest Nextbook devices at CES 2015, including an LTE model and an Intel-powered 2-in-1 tablet. There will be four new models, all running Android 5.0.
The Nextbook Ares 11 is an 11-inch 2-in-1 tablet running an Intel processor. It’s a very flexible, capable device with a detachable keyboard, 1366 x 768 IPS screen, 1 GB of RAM, and 64 GB of internal storage, plus all of your standard WiFi/Bluetooth radios and a USB port on the keyboard. The Ares 11 will run $249.
The Ares 10L is a 10-inch tablet that features slightly upgraded specs from the Ares 11, including a 1280 x 800 display and a Snapdragon 410 CPU. It includes the detachable magnetic keyboard, but you lose some internal storage (16 GB) and there’s no full USB port on this model, but it is 4G LTE capable, which is a huge selling point for some users. The Ares 10L will cost $229.
The Nextbook Ares 8L and Ares 8 are smaller, 8-inch tablets with no magnetic keyboards. The Ares 8L features nearly identical specs to the Ares 10L, while the Ares 8 sports an MTK MT8127 CPU instead of the Snapdragon 410. The Ares 8 will cost $129 while the 8L will cost $199.
Everything E FUN is showing off will run Android 5.0 Lollipop, and like the other Nextbooks in their lineup, these are priced pretty aggressively. You can check out the full press release below.
