IP Printer goes offline in Terminal Server session

I have a printer setup with a Linksys print server. If I add this
printer as a local printer to my computer, I can print all day with no
problems. If I add this printer onto our terminal server so that our
offsite users can print to it, it will work for one or two pages, then
go into offline mode. If I delete the printer and re-add it, it will
work again for one or two pages, then it will go offline. I can
continuously ping the print server even when it is showing that it is
offline. Any ideas?

I do not know if this will work for you, but I had a Lexmark W820 do the
same thing. It was fine in XP, Linux and UNIX, but W2K3 TS server kept
going offline.

I upgraded the firmware in the print server and now all is well.

Is there a newer firmware for your print server?
