Facebook has officially begun rolling out its new personalized notifications tab feature that will be incorporated into the Facebook application.Using Facebook’s new personalized feed, users can keep track of their social and news notifications in a more organized manner. Now you can see all of them in one convenient place. Members also have the option to turn on the locations services permission in order to view a status’ of what’s going on around you. These can include, but are not limited to, weather updates, local events, popular places, movies playing in the area and even reviews at nearby restaurants.
Facebook stated nothing will be changed and all personalized settings will remain untouched. A statement made by the project manager of Facebook, Keith Peiris, said the update will be coming to the United States shortly, and will be made available on both Android and iOS platforms.
