Hello I'm setting a windows 2003 terminal services with office 2003
application.
All works fine.
I want to disable internet explorer from terminal server session because my
user don't need to go in internet.
I know I can lock down it with gpo but I don't want this.
I want if is possible to prevent user to launch ie.
I have remove all link from toolbar, star menu etc but if i use the address
bar or if I click help - It's genuine my copy of windows internet explorer is
launched.
It's possible to disable ie?
Thanks

Re: Disable internet explorer

You cannot disable Internet Explorer because it is to tied into the OS.
The typical solution is to setup IE with a false proxy address. That
way users will not be able to browse the internet. Remember to disable
the IE control panel as well.
