T-Mobile’s version of the BlackBerry Priv might see an official launch by the end of January, if a leaked internal calendar is accurate. The calendar of events marks January 26th as the launch of the BlackBerry Venice, which, if you remember prior to the launch of BlackBerry’s latest and greatest, was the codename for the Priv.
Verizon’s version of the slider is already en route to the carrier, so it’d make sense for T-Mobile to get something officially out to consumers sooner rather than later, especially considering AT&T is the only carrier that’s currently offering the device. Sure, you can buy it straight through BlackBerry, but for most customers walking into a carrier store to make a purchase, that’s probably not something they’ll be willing to do.
Keep your fingers crossed this date doesn’t slip any further.
