Verizon’s Q4 results are in for 2015, and it looks like the nation’s largest wireless carrier had a pretty solid holiday season. Revenue is up, churn is down, and they even managed to get some solid additions to their home internet services.
Verizon added 1.5 million subscribers to their postpaid service in the fourth quarter, which is actually down a bit from the 2 million in 2014. However, customer churn for their service was below 1%, which indicates how many people left the network for someone else. Verizon went all in on some pretty heavy promotions over the past few months to compete with the other extremely aggressive carriers, and it paid off by keeping more customers on the network.
Operating revenue rose to over $34 billion, while net income was $5.39 billion. Definitely better than their loss of $2.23 billion last year.
