Have you been yearning to take a look around the Guggenheim Museum in New York, but haven’t yet had the opportunity or wherewithal to do so? If that’s the case, you’re in luck as Google’s Street View team have partnered up with the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation to create a virtual experience of the museum’s distinctive galleries, which can be explored from the comfort of your living room using either a smartphone, tablet, computer or VR headset, should you happen to own one.

This project took more than 3-months to complete and entailed Google’s engineers carefully stitching together over 100,000 images that were captured by an array of different drones, tripods, DSLR’s and trolley cameras. The final result is a Full HD scalable 360-degree image, which can be navigated around using the touchscreen on a mobile device, the mouse on a desktop or by bobbing your head up and down while wearing a VR headset.
