Thanks to famous tipster Evan Blass, we now have a possible launch date for the Huawei P9s. The handsets are expected to release this Wednesday, and will allegedly hit shelves on April 6th, exactly one month from today.
As previously reported, there will be four variants of the Huawei P9, a standard version, a lite version, a Max version, and an enhanced version. All models will launch on the same date. Recent rumors point towards a March 9th release, although that’s only four days from now and nothing has been confirmed. This means that there’s still a chance this won’t be the release date.
All P9 models are expected to include a metal design, a slim form factor, and rear-facing fingerprint scanners. We also have some leaked details on pricing. The lowest priced model will be the Huawei P9 lite, which will cost approximately $289 USD. The most expensive of the four will be the Huawei P9 Max, which will include a price tag of around $627 USD. Hopefully we’ll get things sorted out on Monday.
