Samsung announced today that the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have hit record pre-orders in the UK, more than any previous Samsung device.

Pre-orders bean on February 21 and lasted until March 10. During that time, Samsung says GS7 and GS7 Edge sales were “at least” 2.5 times greater than any previous Galaxy device launched in the UK. Unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t provided any specific numbers and likely won’t for a couple more months.

This confirmation from Samsung that pre-orders are booming in the UK follows along with a previous report indicating that Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge sales worldwide were promising.

In its first month, 6 million Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge units were sold worldwide. With this news from Samsung, it’ll be interesting to see just how much the company is able to sell, maybe even breaking its record with the Galaxy S4, where the company sold a whopping 10 million units in its first month.

Carphone Warehouse reported that within two days of pre-orders opening, the smartphone retailer saw a 200% increase in pre-orders of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in comparison to the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge last year.

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge officially launched today, March 11, and is now available from all major UK carriers and retailers, such as Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse, Three, EE and O2.

We’ve got the press release below.
