Verizon and AT&T announced today that they’re now taking pre-orders for the LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE with an April 1 release date.
Aside from having a slick design, the watch has its own 4G LTE connectivity, meaning you’ll be able to do most things without a tether to a smartphone, such as making and taking calls, text messaging, and much more.
The watch itself is quite expensive, sitting at a whopping $500 outright. Alternatively, Verizon is offering it up for $450 with a two-year contract. However, the carrier is also running a promotion on the watch, where they’ll take $100 off the top if you pick up an LG G5 or LG V10.
AT&T is offering a much nicer deal, allowing customers to pick one up for $99 on a two-year agreement if they purchase an LG G5 on AT&T Next. Other than that, the watch can costs upwards $200 on AT&T.
Anyone plan on pre-ordering the Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE from either carrier?
