HTC’s revenue totals for the month of March have been announced. Unfortunately, they don’t paint a pretty picture.
Despite reports that HTC was in good standing, the company experienced a downward slope in revenues this March. The company reported a revenue total of $127.57 million last Month, which is down 79.3% year-over-year. This figure is also smaller than the month of February just prior. The decline was 1.34% to exact. Alongside these falls, the company’s stock price also took a hit, which was marked down 1.88% from February, taken as of April 6th on the Taiwan Stock Exchange.
HTC is just about set to unveil their new flagship smartphone, and it couldn’t be needed more at a different time. HTC is said to be working extremely hard on the handset, trying to improve both hardware and software. Hopefully this will be enough to bring in some positive gains when it officially launches. Between the company’s Vive VR headset, which launched this month, and the upcoming flagship HTC 10 smartphone, the company will have no excuses for declines in April and May.
