The HTC 10 is coming in just a couple days, but that’s obviously not going to stop the early leaks. The latest comes from GSM Helpdesk and shows a pretty great look at the device in the flesh, no press render included.
It looks like most of the other leaks we’ve seen, although it’s probably one of the best views of the black model that’s cropped up yet.
But images of the device aren’t all that’s leaked; GSM Helpdesk says that the HTC 10 will be globally available in mid-May, so don’t expect a same-day availability on April 12th. It’s unfortunate, but it will also give HTC some time to put space in between its flagship and the Galaxy S7’s tremendous launch.
The device supposedly has a 1440 x 2560 resolution screen matching all of the other flagships launching this year, plus a design language that’s a nice mesh between the M series and the HTC One A9. There’s a Snapdragon 820 CPU with 4 GB of RAM, and HTC’s famous BoomSound speakers with 12 megapixel “Ultra Pixel” cameras. The cameras also have OIS, which is great news. There’s a USB type C connector on the bottom of the device to charge the HTC 10’s massive 3,000 mAh battery, which ticks just about every feature you could want in a 2016 smartphone.
These are all still rumors, so take it with a grain of salt. We’ll know for sure how the HTC 10 will look in less than 48 hours.
