About a year ago, acclaimed director Ridley Scott indicated that there's a lot of story left to tell in the Alien franchise. In what will ultimately be a trilogy of sequels (which themselves are prequels to the 1979 original), Scott explained at a press conference last year that the planned trio films will address the "very basic questions posed in Alien: why the alien, who might have made it and where did it come from?”
