Hi...

Got a bizzare situation, iv just set up a Win2003 server with DHCP,DNS the
normal standard.....iv got 7 Vista Buisness workstations, my problem is with
DHCP...5 of the workstaions are fine and getting a DHCP address okay no
problem but are not in the Domain, the 2 that i have added to the domain are
no longer obtaining DHCP addresses(but were before) although when i look in
the leased addresses on the server the 2 PC's have been issued addresses but
when i do a ipconfig on each workstation they have not been picked up and are
instead using 169 windows assigned addresses...

anybody got any ideas???

Thanks

Things to check.

- Was anything applied to these 2 machines which was not applied to the
other 5?
- Net adapter driver updated?
- Net adapter driver missing?
- New application blocking icmp on the client?
- Conflicting IPs?
