blank screen after updates

hi,
I've recently updated my 2003 server
After reboot I pass throuth BIOS and get nothing but screen with
coursor on it
No Welcome screen; no login screen
Does not boot into safe mode or "last known good configuration"
the disk is good, I've checked it on another box
Currently I run from secondary domain controller
It got the same updates
Now I affraid to restared it
I want to boot first DC before restarting (don't want to loose the
both)

Anyone out there seen stuff like this before?

sorry for late reply I was off for a couple of days

time zone change patches brought the box down
i gave and restore from 2003 disk
worked fine but took about 4 hours
