I am facing a very anoying problem. My Terminal Server which was also a
backup domain controller , but for the sake of solving this problem i
demoted it , my without any effect on the problem.
The problem is that my terminal server clients are not able to add printers
on the network to their desktop.
Now i went through google & some MS knowledgebases & got to a solution where
one needs to disable a security option in the Security "Device prevent users
from installing printers" which i did , but still nothing .. in fact i
disable this options everywhere i can find , no matter local security
policy, domain security or Domain controller security policy but still ...
the only solution is when i add this user to Domain administrator ... but i
cant do this to everyone right ? what should i do ?

regards

Re: client printer installing to clients.

Can you please provide more information on which OS (2003, XP, Vista) you
are running on the clients and the TS server? Also please check the event
log to see if there is any error message reported. That will help narrow
down the problem.
