Hi everyone,
I need some help understanding how files are transferred in a TS
environment. We have a client that is using our software to open image
files that are stored on a server. There is a very big delay in
opening TIF image files, while all other formats open quickly. File
size is not the problem because the TIFs are smaller than the other
images. If we copy the files to the desktop and open from there, there
is no delay at all.
The client says they have determined that the delay is in the upload
of the file from the local computer to the TS session. I have very
little TS experience. I am not sure I understand what this upload is.
Can someone explain? Does anyone have an idea what might cause the
delay?
Thanks,
Mike
