Anybody have any problems or successes with this? I can't get my receiver to
pair with my remote. When I plug it in, Vista asks for a driver. I'm
supposed to be able to pair it before that but it doesn't. The instructions
say that I have to press the button on the receiver and the LED will come on
on the receiver (it did). Then I'm supposed to press two buttons on the
remote and the receiver is supposed to blink. It doesn't blink at all but
stays constantly lit.

I tried it on my roommate's Vista 32 bit and it works fine so I know it's
not hardware. I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit. I have every possible
BIOS, hardware, motherboard, Vista x64, updates possible.

Can anyone help me out or at least confirm it's not compatible? According
to Keyspan's website and on the box it came in, it is compatible with Vista
Ultimate. I tried contacting them by e-mail but they won't return my e-mail.
It's been about 3 weeks since I've sent it. Thanks.

I received reply from Keyspan regarding Vista 64bit.

According to Keyspan the remote does work with Vista 64bit provided that
your version of Vista includes the Media Center feature. There's no drivers
to install since the drivers are already part of the standard Vista
installation.

This must've been an anomaly. I've already tried all of those things and it
didn't work. I contacted Keyspan a while back and they said the exact same
thing (as what the instructions said about the drivers). Anyway...

I formatted the drive and did another install of Windows and all of my
motherboard drivers. It works now. I followed the exact same procedures I
used when installing before. Strange...
