Content creators have been trying to curb piracy for years, but that’s a war they’re not likely to win anytime soon.

Services like The Pirate Bay, which are essentially portals to free movies, TV shows, music, games, books, and whatever else can be obtained in a digital format, aren’t dead. They may be taken offline every once in a while, but they still survive, in spite of the increasing popularity of streaming services that offer cheap and even free access to content. In fact, The Pirate Bay is now trialing a brand new type of service that is sure to infuriate copyright holders: High-quality video streaming that lets you watch content for free online.
