Hi there,

I have a quick question regarding Licensing.

I have a terminal services environment with 42 servers hosting applications
to about 1300 users. These users all connect from 1300 unique devices which
include Windows 2000 pc's, Windows XP pc's and Linux based thin clients.

I know each device needs a Terminal Services CAL, my question is Windows
CAL's. As far as I understand each device/user which makes use of a windows
service requires a CAL regardless of whether the machine is a terminal server
or not and whether the device is a thin client or not.

Is this correct?

Thanks in advance,

Rt

Re: CAL Model

Yes, this is correct.
