How the heck can I view event logs remotely? I would like to allow my
developers read access to the servers event logs without allowing any other
type of access...

You could schedule a task that copies all three event
log files once every x minutes to a shared folder to
which your developers have access. They can then
open each file with eventvwr.exe.

Hello,

with GPO:
Computer
Windows Settings
System Services
edit the eventlog service
Give them the "Read" right

i didn't test but it would work
