Hi,

Our users are using variety of HP printer models, and the printers who
have no matching driver on server are not being redirected. Do I need
to install every single driver on server one by one or there is a
better way?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,

Rana

yes you need the drivers on the server. If your using windows 2003 SP1
(or is it 2 I forget) they introduced the fallback driver which uses
a generic driver for print drivers that are not on the server. I would
not blindly load the print drivers though as the #1 cause of stability
issues with terminal services is bad print drivers. I would test your
drivers first (Citrix (http://support.citrix.com) actually has utility
you can use to test them call StressPrint) before implementing them.

RE: Printer Drivers on Terminal Server 2003

hi,
check the universal printer driver from HP and create or modify a custom
printer mapping file.
