Following years of rumors and speculation, Nintendo confirmed the existence of the Nintendo Switch (OLED model) on Tuesday. As expected, the new Switch will have a 7-inch OLED screen -- a significant upgrade over the 6.3-inch LCD of the original Switch model. In addition to the bigger, crisper display, Nintendo has also given the OLED model a wide adjustable stand, enhanced audio, a new dock with a wired LAN port, and 64GB of internal storage.
The Nintendo Switch (OLED model) will launch on October 8th, 2021 for $349.99, which is $50 more expensive than the original Switch and $150 pricier than the Nintendo Switch Lite.
