Brand new to setting up Server 08 (any server for that matter). This question might be to in depth but would love someone to work with me.
I have a machine with server 08 installed with 2 network cards. I want 1 network card to be from cable modem and the other to go to a linksys router acting more like a switch (passive routing).
My end goal is to use that router to allow network computers to access internet through the server (wired and wireless are connecting to linksys).
That way everyone can see files and media on server and still get through net, yet server is only connected to cable modem and router.
again i am brand new and this.
is anyone willing to help please?
