I was having issues with WMIPRVSE.exe consuming up to 40% of my CPU and slowing my system down. Through google I managed to determine that this was caused by The Windows System Resource Manager, and if I stop this service then my CPU usage returns to a more acceptible state.
Now clearly I don't want to leave this service disabled as it is of course meant to manage my system resources, not use them all up, so I would prefer to fix the problem.
I do not have SBS installed, nor any items stuck in the print spool, so that voids almost all the suggestions I found on google.
Anyone got any suggestions how to resolve this ?
