IE8 Locks up when going to adobe

I have been using the Windows Servers as a desktop since NT first came out. I am a serious middleware developer and am familiar with most Microsoft applications and how to find issues. This one eludes me, when I go to www.adobe .com (Internet Zone) IE starts to load then hangs when I am a user on 2008. If I go to the site as the local builtin admin account (Internet Zone) everything works just fine. Tried using ProcessMonitor to see if anything stands out but no denied accesses are reported. Also tried running IE as an admin but that shows the same results. Any ideas ?
