I have a 2008 machine set to use a static ip address of 156.42.75.117.
The default website on this machine is set to use that ip address. We are hosting several internal sites, so I added another ip address to the nic and assigned one of the sites to the new ip address which is 156.42.75.74. All was working great until an automatic update installed and the machine restarted. Now the machine has assumed the 156.42.75.74 ip address.
Any ideas why this is happening and what can I do to prevent it?
