Hi, i just wanna ask this problem of mine.
when my client joining to my server domain, it failed. it said that "A domain controller for the domain mydomain.com could not be contacted."
The error was: "No DNS servers configured for local system."
(error code 0x0000267C DNS_ERROR_NO_DNS_SERVERS)

anyone can help?

i don't know how to configure dns server, i just create it when creating active directory using dcpromo.
i already use static ip, i fill the server dns address with my server address.
now my client can join domain, only if i fill my server address in preferred dns server. is there any way so that i don't have to fill in preferred dns server? i mean automatic.

and there is another problem, after succeeding join domain, now my client cannot login.
what should i configure in my server? i already create user in active directory.

the message says :
Windows cannot connect to the domain, either because the domain controller is down or otherwise unavailable, or because your computer account is not found. Please try again later. If this messages continues to appear, contact your system administrator for assistance.
