Good day to all
I’m new to the forum so excuse any protocol misdemeanours
I have a issue with my Windows 2008 Terminal Server that is similar to the previous post by Barry
my environment is as follows, I have a Windows 2008 Standard 64 bit server, which have been configure with the Terminal Service role to run an application used by our company’s external users, the box is placed within my DMZ and the network card is configured with an single external facing IP address.
My issue is that on a daily bases my external users cannot connect to the Terminal Server, to resolve this I reset the Network Adapter and the external users are then able to connect until the next morning when I need to follow the whole process again,
The funny thing is that I remote connect to the Terminal server via my desktop on the same internal LAN as the Terminal Server, but cannot connect to the box from any external connections and the server does not respond to any PING requests until after I reset the NIC.
I have gone through the general steps of checking and adjusting the power settings to the Network adapter, Windows Firewall is disabled, and I have reinstalled Terminal Services but none of that seemed to work
I’m not sure what else I need to do or where else I need to look for a permanent solution, Any assistance would be very much appreciated
