Windows 2008 Media Service Wms Digest Authentication

I have installed and configured on my windows 2008 server standard windows media services 2008 and all works ok.

I don't understand how it works WMS Digest Authentication.

Anyone have configure it?

I read somwhere that it's necessary to install active directory.
