Hello
I am a systems administrator with 20 years experience. Administered Windows desktops and severs with Unix and Linux. Brief experience with Novell too. I have over a decades experience with Samba. At a previous employer, there were Windows Severs, but was not responsible for administering those boxes.
One of the accounting packages which will be used is not supported by Linux using Samba and as such have started to work on deploying at Windows Server box at one of my locations.
Doing a new install. I had no problems with Windows 2008 server up until I played around with Active Directory in an effort to get user home directories. I am going to look around here and elsewhere before I start to ask some questions
