I'm new at the whole server thing and although I know some of it's capabilities I have no Idea how to access them or set them up. every tutorial I have looked at assumes that I have used an earlier version of server and know what I'm doing. This is my first time with a server. I don't know if what I want to do is even able to be done although It probubly is. I have a 3 computer network that consists of 2 Laptops that are wireless one with Xp the other with 7, and the server that is wired. I have a cable modem and a router that is the backbone of my network right now. I want to set up my computers to login like those at schools where it dosen't matter what computer you go on you use the same user name and password and have the same access to files (That are located on an external drive hooked up to the server) and internet access. Can anyone tell me if this is posible? and if it is can you point me in the right direction to accomplishing this goal? My e-Mail is kccomputers2000@live.com
